The exhibition "Back to the Past" opened its doors in 7 Olmos street, La Coruna, Spain, from 5th December 2008 to 5th January 2009, sponsored by Drogueria Villar S.L.

The exhibition presented 24 photographs of La Coruna, Galicia and Madrid and 6 of foreign countries: Yosemite Valley (USA), Yoro (Japan), Mont St. Michel (France), Regent Street (London, UK), Crocodile Rock at Table Mountain (South Africa) and a Water fountain in Cairo (Egypt).

People could see the images in 3D, with Loreo glasses, and use the original taxiphote, an old wooden cabinet stereoviewer.

Due its great success, we decided to create this web, taxiphote.com, to exhibit and sell stereo photographs dating from 1895 and carefully conserved and passed on through the years from father to son.

Here you can see some of the photographs, taken early on a Sunday morning, to avoid too many visitors being shown.
